The UNC Pembroke Board of Trustees voted December 5 to recommend a $300 tuition increase for the 2004-5 school year.
The 12 percent tuition hike, and the estimated $1.3 million it would generate, would be divided equally between faculty and staff pay increases and increased financial aid to offset the increase for students on aid.

Meet the new Miss UNCP 2003, Robyn Baker.
Crowned on November 20, 2003, Baker is a 19-year-old sophomore Music Education major from Northfield, N.J. She is a 5-foot 4-inches with blonde hair and lists singing, piano and physical fitness as her hobbies.
At UNCP, Baker is a member of the University Choir, Pembroke Singers and played a lead role in the Musical Theatre Program's first stage production. She was awarded the Richard C. Pisano Scholarship for her contributions to the Music
