Business professor Dr. John Wei-Shan Hu of Taiwan spent two weeks in March on the campus of The University of North Carolina at Pembroke.

UNC Pembroke Professor Stephen M. Marson is North Carolina ’s 2005 Social Worker of the Year.

Dr. Marson, a Lumberton, N.C., resident, will be honored by the North Carolina chapter of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) on March 11 at the Conference on Ethics in Raleigh, N.C.
