The University of North Carolina at Pembroke has extended its application deadline for new students enrolling for the fall 2017 semester.
As a result of Hurricane Matthew, many potential students have experienced delays in their college search and application process. The extended deadline offers students extra time needed to complete the process.
The deadline is July 31. New Student Orientation sessions will be held July 20-21, July 31-August 1, and August 5. All new students are required to participate in an Orientation session.
Transfer students can save a few bucks by taking advantage of Transfer Thursdays and Transfer Fridays each week until the fall semester begins. If students bring in all completing documents for the admissions review, including official transcripts from all previously attended institutions, the $45 application fee will be waived. Students under 21 should bring in their ACT/SAT scores.
Classes begin August 16.
