The Indianhead yearbook won six awards, finishing second overall in the best of show category and winning two third place and three honorable mention awards.
The Pine Needle newspaper won two awards: a third place award for sports writing and an honorable mention in the best of show category for online news delivery.
Mark Canada, acting dean of the College of Arts and Sciences, praised the student accomplishments. “We're proud of these honors, of course, but we also are proud of our student publications in general. The Aurochs, Indianhead and Pine Needle provide our students with both outlets for their work and invaluable experience.”
