Dr. Bryant joins Congressman's Education Committee

Congressman
Mike McIntyre appointed Dr. Alfred Bryant to his Education Advisory
Committee. Dr. Bryant is a professor in the School of
Education at The University of North Carolina at Pembroke.
Rep. McIntyre's 7th District Education Advisory Committee meets periodically
to help keep the congressman informed on the critical issues facing
the education system.
Dr. Bryant said he appreciates the opportunity to serve on the committee.
"I am honored to be appointed to Congressman McIntyre's advisory
committee," Dr. Bryant said. "This will be important work
for me, UNC Pembroke, the education community, as well as Congressman
McIntyre. It gives me a great opportunity to be involved in improving
educational opportunities for all citizens of North Carolina."
The Committee consists of a cross section of the southeastern North
Carolina community who has an interest in education. Congressman McIntyre
welcomed Dr. Bryant to the committee.
"The 7th District Education Advisory Committee welcomes Dr. Alfred
Bryant," Rep McIntyre said. "We look forward to working with
him and utilizing his knowledge and experience as we look for solutions
to the challenges facing our higher education system."
Dr. Bryant earned his undergraduate degree at UNCP. He earned his Master's
in Education and a Ph.D. at North Carolina State University.
