James McGhee was crowned Big Man on Campus 2015-2016 on March 25. He also took home the title of Mister Congeniality for being most talented. His material prize was a FitBit watch.
Robert Hamilton won first runner-up and second runner-up was Jamar Davis. Wilson Pearson was titled Mister Popular for getting the most monetary donations collected in the GPAC lobby before and during the pageant.
Big Man on Campus is a male pageant with various competition categories such as swim wear, talent, on-stage question and pink wear. The event was hosted by Zeta Tau Alpha Women’s Fraternity.
The competition is open to any males on campus. Seven male students competed for the title: Dalton Townsend, Francisco Torres, Michael Townsen, Davis, McGhee, Hamilton and Pearson.
“I wanted people to see me on campus, and know I’m Big Man on Campus, and say he is doing something positive in the community,” said McGhee.
Zeta Tau Alpha’s Big Man on Campus title winner is an ambassador for the organization to help represent their values, to help promote philanthropy events and to support their sisterhood.
All proceeds raised from the event will go to the Zeta Tau Alpha Foundation.
