UNCP Athletics offers camps for summer

The UNCP athletics department is putting on a series of summer sports camps in the months of June and July that will cover both men’s and women’s sports.
The baseball coaching staff will have a camp from July 14-17, and the softball team will bring in high school players on July 8 and 9.
The football coaching staff will be holding two separate one-day camps on July 25 and July 26. The camp on July 25 will be for high school juniors and seniors only, while the one on July 26 will be for ages six to 12. Both camps will cost $25 per person and last from 9:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m.
There will be two basketball camps. One for high school boys on June 14 and a boys and girls camp on June 16-18.
The wrestling coaches will be busy as they will hold five camps. They are holding a team dual camp on June 21, a Little Braves Commuter Camp on June 22-24, a technique camp on June 22-25, an intensive camp on June 22-26 and a FCA team camp on July 5-8.
The Lady Braves volleyball team is offering a couple different camps. They have a specialty skills camp on July 15-16, a team camp on July 17-19 and the Braves Volleyball Academy on the first four Mondays in June with private lessons available by request.
Three different men’s soccer camps will be taking place. The first is for ages four to 14 on June 23-26. The two others are a high school boys team and club teams camp on July 21-25 and a summer ID camp for players age 14-18 on July 26.
UNCP’s tennis coach will hold a one-day high school team camp during the months of August and September by request.
