Welcome to the 110th Annual Meeting of the North Carolina Academy of Science (NCAS) (and first joint meeting with the NC-PKAL Network) at
The University of North Carolina at Pembroke!

The NCAS annual meeting will be held April 5-6, 2013.

The conference theme is:

Science in the Genomics Era

The North Carolina Academy of Science promotes public appreciation of science, science education, scientific research and a meaningful role for science in public policy.

CONFERENCE REGISTRATION

If you would like to attend poster or oral presentations, workshops, or special sessions, you must register for the conference. Register early so that you can pay a reduced rate and make plans well in advance.

Please visit the Conference Schedule page to see a complete listing of conference activities and events.

We welcome presentations of recent scientific research. All presenters must register early for the conference. Visit the Call for Abstracts page to learn more about presentations.

EVENTS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC

The plenary and keynote addresses are free of charge and open to the public. Registration for these free events is required, however. Please arrive 20-30 minutes early to register inside the University Center Annex (Friday) or the Health Sciences Building (Saturday). If you register for the entire conference, you are entitled to attend as many events and presentations as you like.
