TOM PANEPINTO

Tom Panepinto began playing the horn as a sophomore in high school in 1993. He received a BM in Horn Performance in 2001 from Appalachian State University in Boone, North Carolina and a Master’s of Music in Horn
Performance in 2003 from the University of Florida, Gainesville. After graduation Tom spent two years free lancing in Orlando, Florida. In 2005, Tom and his wife, Roberta, moved back to North Carolina, where he has
continued working as a free lance horn performer and a horn teacher. Currently, Tom plays regularly with the North Carolina Theatre, the Fayetteville Symphony Orchestra, Florence Symphony in Florence, South Carolina, and the Triangle Wind Ensemble.He also performs regularly with a woodwind quintet, Mobius Quintet, and a brass quintet, A Touch of Brass. As a free lance hornist, Tom has performed with the North Carolina Symphony, North Carolina Opera Company, Capital Opera, Chamber Orchestra of the Triangle, North Carolina Master Chorale, North Carolina Wind Orchestra, Raleigh Symphony Orchestra, Raleigh Civic Symphony, Durham Choral Society, Cary Concert Singers, and the St. Francis Brass Band. Tom, Roberta and their son, Blake, live in Fuquay Varina, NC.
