Dr. Jonathan Maisonpierre

Jonathan Maisonpierre, pianist, teaches piano, theory and music appreciation courses. He received his B.M. degree from Ohio Wesleyan University and M.M. and D.M.A. degrees from the University of Maryland. Dr. Maisonpierre specializes in music for one piano, four hands and performs frequently with his wife, Elizabeth, as a piano duettist. He is an active member of the North Carolina Music Teachers Association and has held numerous positions on the executive board. He is in demand as an adjudicator for the North Carolina Music Teachers Association, National Guild of Piano Teachers, and for other organizations. In addition to his college work and performing activities, Dr. Maisonpierre is director of music/organist at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Pinehurst, NC.
