summer drum daze

The Spirit of the Carolinas Marching Band presents its third ever "Summer Drum Daze" marching percussion camp. This camp will be held July 25 on the UNCP Campus. The day will include sectional and ensemble instruction for students, as well as special sessions designed for their directors. The camp is open to full lines or individual students. Please bring your own equipment as we do not have enough to outfit everyone!. The camp is FREE of charge as a courtesy of the UNCP Music Department. Contact Tracy Wiggins if you are interested in attending. The camp is co-sponsored by Innovative Percussion, Ludwig/Musser, Evans, XL and Sabian.

2:00 PM - Full Ensemble

4:00 PM - Final Exhibition by Camp Line

The text and exercises for the camp will be "Field Level" by Mike Lynch and Scott Brown. You can purchase a copy if you would like from Row-Loff Productions. Music will be provided for the students attending the camp!
