drumset major

Beginning with the fall semester of 2008 students can choose drumset as their major instrument of study! Drumset majors can choose either the Bachelor of Arts Degree or the Bachelor of Arts with Business Electives degree. Principal studies for drumset majors will be with Pat Petrillo. Drumset majors will also study classical percussion with Tracy Wiggins. The goal of having drumset majors study all percussion instruments is to make them more marketable in their future careers. Drumset majors take Jazz Ensemble and Global Rhythm Ensemble as thei ensembles which count towards their degree.
