PRESS RELEASE

MOBILE GMAT TEST CENTER POISED TO START
THIRD JOURNEY ACROSS UNITED STATES

Graduate Management Admission Council Brings
Business School Entrance Exam to 17 Universities in 12 States

McLean, Virginia—The GMAT Mobile Test Center will again travel across the United States on a mission to deliver the Graduate Management Admission Test® directly to students located far from a permanent GMAT® test center.

GMAT Bus

The unique test center on wheels—a customized bus with six high-tech GMAT testing stations and satellite communications links—begins its third U.S. tour March 3 at California State University in Bakersfield, Calif. During the three-month, 4,500-mile journey, the bus will visit 17 college campuses in 12 states. The trip concludes June 6 at Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, Mich.

The GMAT Mobile Test Center is operated by the Graduate Management Admission Council® (GMAC®), owner of the GMAT, and includes the same sophisticated test-security and ID-verification systems used at the global network of permanent GMAT test centers. The test center is managed for GMAC by Pearson VUE, which provides test administration services for the GMAT worldwide. The Graduate Management Admission Test, or GMAT, is a standardized entrance exam used by thousands of graduate management education programs around the world.

People interested in taking the GMAT on the GMAT Mobile Test Center may make an appointment by visiting www.mba.com/gmatbus or calling 1-800-717-GMAT. An affiliation with one of the educational institutions hosting the test center is not required.

This trip represents the GMAT Mobile Test Center’s fourth transcontinental journey. Established as a pilot program to increase access to the exam for students in remote areas in fall 2006, the bus visited nearly 50 locations in the United States between October 2006 and May 2007. A second, seven-month tour in 2007-08 included 28 U.S. colleges and universities. Most recently, the mobile test center traveled across Canada in mid-2008, visiting 14 universities in seven Canadian provinces.
