2004 Mathematics Awareness Week:
Scavenger Hunt

1. Copies of eight simple graphs will be posted in highly visible places, or not-so-highly visible places, around the UNCP campus. The objective of the hunt is to locate the graphs, copy each one down on the correct place on the answer sheet along with its location, and return the completed list to Mrs. Connie Hawk, Rigel 102, no later than 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 14.
   
   
2. The contest will be held on the days Monday through Wednesday, April 12-14.
   
   
3. Each team must submit a roster of the participants' names and phone numbers to Mrs. Connie Hawk, Rigel 102, no later than 5:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 13, 2004. A team may consist of up to three members. The team will receive an answer sheet listing the graphs they are to find on Tuesday morning at 10:00 a.m. or at the time they register, whichever is later.
   
   
4. The winning team will be the first team to submit an answer sheet with all correct answers. In case there are no perfect answer sheets, the team submitting the most correct answers in the shortest amount of times will win. Prizes will be awarded to the winning team members.
