Mary Livermore Library maintains a virtual presence in Second Life (SL), a three dimensional virtual world in which people can interact much as they would in real life. Virtual reference services are provided every Tuesday and Thursday afternoon from 3 pm until 5 pm during the academic year. Our video tutorials on how to use the Library's resources are available streaming in Second Life. We have a Book Club that meets regularly throughout the year. Additionally, this year we will be adding a Destination Guide to help direct people to educational and cultural places in Second Life. If you need help getting set up in Second Life, message librarian Aurora Tutti for assistance in world, email firstname.lastname@example.org, or IM below. Our real life Library has two Second Life workstations for those that need access to the Second Life software.
