Ewa Mataya Laurance is one of the most visible superstars in the history of pocket billards. Known as The Striking Viking, she has taken the billard world by storm since she moved to the US from her native Sweden. She will be performing a trick shot demonstration and playing some spectacular player challenges.

Business Etiquette Dinner - University Center Annex

Have you ever wondered which fork you should use at a meal? Do you find yourself questioning whether or not a certain topic is appropriate for dinner conversation? Then this event is for you! At the Business Etiquette Dinner, you will learn the answers to these questions, and many more, from an internationally Certified Business Etiquette Consultant over a full course meal. Tickets are $10 and are available in The Career Center, Suite 210 of the University Center.

ACE presents: Student vs. Faculty Basketball Game - Auxiliary Gym

Think you can put together a KA (aka Killer Attitude....get your mind out of the gutter) team? You have the option of participating in the 4 on 4 tournament and/or the 6 on 6 tournaments. Start getting your teams together because registration will be from March 4th - March 8th in the UC at $5 per team member. Professioinal and Career Development Institute - University Center Lounge

The Professional and Career Development Institute (PCDI) is a free, day long, conference-style event for students and alumni. Sessions include career skills workshops, guest speakers, and hot topic breakout sessions. The theme for PCDI on March 23, 2013 is Opening Doors to Your Future. Sessions include, but are not limited to, Employer Panel Luncheon, Getting into Grad School (Panel) and True Life: After College Edition. Register online at uncp.edu/career/pcdi/.

Fun Run and Walk - University Center

The UNCP HEALTH Committee, in collaboration with the 125th Anniversary Committee, will be holding both a 3-mile run/walk from the center of the current campus to the site of the original campus and back and a 1-mile run/walk through a portion of our new Hawk Walk trail. Join on your own or as a team. Medals will be awarded for best team name, most UNCP spirit, best use of school colors, and most team spirit. The event will culminate in a cook off.
