PARENTS WEEKEND

September 27-28, 2013

Dear UNCP Parents/Caregivers, Students, and Friends:

I’d like to take this opportunity to invite you to save the date and plan to join us September 27 & 28, 2013 to celebrate our UNCP’s annual Parents’ Weekend! This is a great opportunity for parents/caregivers of UNCP students to purposefully connect with the University and to give students the opportunity to recognize parental contributions to their success.

We invite you to come and connect with our campus, as well as with our faculty & staff, and get a sample of the opportunities your son or daughter has been experiencing thus far throughout the academic term. Learn about the various ways in which your student has become engaged here at UNCP – through community service opportunities, civic awareness, and through our 90+ student organizations.

Additionally, your student has the opportunity to recognize YOU for your contributions to their success by submitting nominations for the Parents of the Year Award. This opportunity allows students to recognize the outstanding support, inspiration, and encouragement you have provided to them. The Parents of the Year Award will be presented on the Saturday of Parents’ Weekend with nomination forms available early in the fall 2013.

To sum it all up: Fellowship, Family, and Football – what a great way to spend the weekend! We hope to see you on campus to celebrate Parents’ Weekend with us.
