Participants in the China Center for International Exchange (CCIEE) 1-2-1 program study for the equivalent of two academic years at UNCP before returning to China to complete the final year of their dual-degree program.
The University of North Carolina at Pembroke is particularly proud of its long-standing and mutually-beneficial relationship with not only the superb CCIEE organization but the wonderful collaboration that we enjoy with all of our partner CCIEE institutions in China. For more information about the 1-2-1 dual-degree program at UNCP, please visit this webpage, whose link opens in a new window.
Known for its dedicated faculty, its personal approach to learning, its history as one of America's most diverse and inclusive universities - as well as its beautiful campus, comfortable climate and warm and welcoming atmosphere - UNCP is the perfect home for CCIEE 1-2-1 students. UNCP will give the tools you need to succeed, while the International Programs office and staff will be there to give you any support that you might require in order to achieve that success. International Programs also organizes fun activities for CCIEE students and organizes cultural excursions in North Carolina and to places like Wsahington, D.C. and New York City.
J-1 students are categorized as individuals entering the United States with the sole intention of pursuing a full course of study and participating in the "Exchange Visitor Program" administered by the U.S. government's Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs.
