Washington DC ISO Trip, 2006

This Fall semester the ISO (International Students Organization) raised money for a weekend trip, Oct. 21st-22nd, to the Nation's Capital. 28 students and 2 chaperones headed up, very in the morning, to make sure to get a full day in the city.

 

Claudia Fimple (Germany), Judith Eckstein (Germany), Angelika Spraider (Austria), and Jane Simonsen (Norway) have safely found the hotel. With its location just 2 blocks from the Mall they hit the streets as soon as we got there.

Jane and Claudia met up with Lina Gren (Sweden) and Charles Pobee-Mensah (USA) and decided to attend a church service at one of the many churches in the city. They look as though they enjoyed themselves.

I'm not sure why they are sizing up the stuffed caribou, but they look as though they could take it in a fight.

The girls met up with the boys, Robert Modig (Sweden) at the Mall for more sightseeing.

Yijun Sun "Carol", Yu-Yuan Su "Janice", Wen Deng "Wendy", Yue Zhao "Jolie", Daxin Zhou "Darcy", Li Zhang "Linda", (all from China) strike a pose with the Washington Momument.

The boys, Hualiu Yang "Alex" and Minghao Guo "John", don't seem to mind all the attention from the girls.

I am not sure what they are doing, but it is a fun picture and shows they had a good time.
