Carowinds ISO Trip

Saturday April the 7th, 2007 was a cold and windy day. Even with the unpleasant weather 33 students and UNCP staff headed to the theme park for a day of fun.

As you can see they were ready for the weather and the fun.

Weng Huang "Jackie" (China), Diane Herrera (Mexico), Natalie Dies (Canada), and Mariana Ortega (Mexico) posed for a picture before entering the park.

Several of our Chinese students, Wei Dai "Vivian", Zhengzheng Wu "Sam", Yunwei Lu "Dasiy", Junyan Lu "Danny", Wang Yao "Stan", and Weng Huang "Jackie", posed for a picture with their favorite cartoon characters. I think they may be a little too old for these though.

Everyone, Enrico Warren (USA), Natalie Dies (Canada), and Marinan Ortega (Mexico), seemed to find a character to relate too.

 

With the weather being cold it made sense that the students, Enrico Warren (USA), Marinan Ortega (Mexico), Diane Herrera (Mexico), Natalie Dies (Canada), and Jeriah Griswold (USA), would grab a hat to keep warm. Their selections were colorful and stylish. At least I hope they are stylish.

Friends were able to spend the day together. Cheron McMullen (USA), Reisa Jones (USA), and Weng Huang's "Jackie" seem to have foudn a moment to pose with a smile.

 

And new friends were made. I think Weng Huang's "Jackie" and Wang Yao's "Stan" new friend may find it difficult to visit though.

The rides were exciting and everyone had a adrenaline satisfying day. As you can see, Junyan Lu "Danny", Yunwei Lu "Dasiy"Wei Dai "Vivian", Zhengzheng Wu "Sam", Weng Huang "Jackie", and Wang Yao "Stan"seemed to have had a great time.
