ISO Trip to Asheville, NC

The international students decided to fit in one more weekend trip before the Spring 2007 semester ended. We headed up, literally up, to the mountains to Asheville. The weather was pleasant, not too sunny and not too hot, and the students were in good spirits, as you can see.

This was the few from the van going up the mountain. I was beautiful.

girls The city had plenty of places to get a great photo. Mariana Ortega (Mexico), Natalie Dies (Canada), and Diana Herrera (Mexico) found such a place.

sign We saw this sign and laughed. I am glad we were not on motorcycles as this does not depict an event any of us were interested in experiencing.

biltmore

We headed to the Biltmore Estate on the third day. This was the highlight of our trip as everyone found something fun to do and something that interested them. Natalie Dies (Canada), Mariana Ortega (Mexico), Diana Herrera (Mexico), Christian Stacckmann (Germany) and Jan Wachsmuth (Germany) headed to the top of the Estate for a photo of the front grounds.

biltmore2

Jan Wachsmuth (Germany), Natalie Dies (Canada), Mariana Ortega (Mexico), Diana Herrera (Mexico), and Christian Stacckmann (Germany) enjoyed the sunny, warm weather and the beautiful surroundings.
