The International Student Organization (ISO) is designed to immerse international students in American culture and society while exposing American students to our international students and their fascinating cultures.
This organization promotes internationalization on campus and in the community while positively representing new and innovative perspectives.
ISO provides opportunities for UNCP and international students to travel within North Carolina and the US to gain a better insight into local and national cultures.
This organization supports activities for UNCP students to make friends that will last a lifetime while ensuring a lasting legacy is left here on our campus.
Check out the photo gallery of ISO events.
If you are thinking of studying abroad or are just interested in meeting international students this is an organization for you to join. There is a weekly meeting, fundraising events, planned trips, and an opportunity to be part of and plan the International Education Week in November with the Center for International Programs staff.

Students can benefit from having ISO membership as well as leadership positions on their resume. This can provide opportunities for good discussion during interviews which help employers get to know and learn areas of interest in the prospective candidate.
As a member of ISO you can participate in:
You can join ISO any time during the semester. Please contact Jessica Hall in the Center for International Programs Office or via e-mail at jessica.hall@uncp.edu. The cost to join ISO is $5. Also click here to see the list of Officers for this year's active ISO. Feel free to contact them for more information about joining ISO.
