Addendum to Senior Survey

Methodology & Results

All seniors at UNCP are invited to attend Grad Finale held during the semester in which they are to graduate. Sponsored by the UNCP Bookstore and Jostens, Grad Finale is designed to provide students with a one-stop fair-like atmosphere where they can take care of all their graduation needs at once. Every other year, UNCP’s Office of Institutional Effectiveness administers a system-generated senior survey during Grad Finale. During the spring semester, 2008, an addendum question was added to this survey. Attending seniors were asked to respond to: What is MOST LIKELY to be your PRINCIPAL activity upon graduation? Of 374 undergraduates slated to graduate in spring 2008, 296 attended Grad Finale and completed the survey resulting in a 79% response rate. The response percentages listed below add to more than 100% as some students selected more than one response despite the instruction within the question to select only the principal activity. Percentages are rounded to the nearest tenth.
