Matt Lundin is in his fifth year with the athletic training staff at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke. He is also a lecturer and an approved clinical instructor for UNC Pembroke’s athletic training education program.
Lundin’s primary teaching assignment is Anatomy and Physiology. He also provides treatment, rehabilitation, and event coverage for UNCP’s intercollegiate athletics with men's soccer, men's basketball and track and field as his primary sports.
Before coming to Pembroke, Lundin was a graduate assistant and teaching associate at California State University–Chico from August, 2001 to May, 2003. He was an instructor of undergraduate activity courses for CSUC’s department of kinesiology. While in Chico, he also served as a full-time ATC for Chico High School, covering all home events and practices for CHS.
A 1997 graduate of Rocky Mountain College, Lundin earned his Master’s Degree from CSU-Chico in May of 2003. His wife, Deborah, is the Assistant Director of Research and Sponsored Programs at UNCP. The couple resides in Lumberton, N.C with their son.
