lecturer/assistant athletic trainer
James Westfall is in his third year as a Lecturer and Approved Clinical Instructor for the Athletic Training Education Program at UNC Pembroke. His primary teaching assignments are Clinical Education II, Research Techniques and BOC Prep.
He also serves as an Assistant Athletic Trainer, with the primary clinical assignment of wrestling and softball. He will also assist with football and coverage of other events as needed.
Westfall spent a year and a half as a graduate assistant at UNC Pembroke before being hired full-time. As a graduate assistant, his primary responsibility was men's basketball.
A 2004 graduate of SUNY Brockport, Westfall earned his master's degree from UNC Pembroke in 2006.
Westfall currently resides in Pembroke, N.C.
