HEALTH pROMOTION Program Information

The Health Promotion Major (HLTP) at UNC Pembroke requires the command of a broad range of knowledge in the field of health, exercise and human development.

At the core of HLTP are the following courses:

  • Principles of Health and Fitness Promotion
  • Health and Fitness Skills
  • Epidemiology of Human Diseases
  • Health/Fitness Behavior Changes
  • Programming Planning, Administration and Evaluation
