Reach Conference

REACH (Research, Education, and Advacacy for Community Health) is an inniative enacted and supported by UNCP Health Promotion. The REACH iniitative culminates each November with a conference on a selected health topic. The topic for REACH 2012 is reversing the type 2 diabetes trend.

 

The REACH Conference for 2012 will be held in November 2012. Admission to the REACH conference is free to UNCP faculty, staff, and students as well as to the public.

 

REACH is an innitiative that relies on community involvement. REACH is funded completely through the generosity of benefactors. Sponsors of REACH 2012 will soon be acknowledged on this page.

 

REACH 2012 will spotlight presentations by UNCP Health Promotion Majors and Minors as well as the faculty. However, we highly encourage students of other universities to present their original research or reviews of the current literature at REACH 2012. Health care professionals with expertise in cardiovascular disease are especially critical to our outreach. If you are metabolic health professional, please consider adding REACH 2012 to your presentation calendar.
