PROGRAMMING MISSION
Residence life programming is designed to provide residential students with a variety of programs and social activities to compliment their educational pursuits and enhance their on-campus living experience. Our programming model, entitled Living & Learning Programming offers our students quality program offerings, held convenient times and locations as well as great incentives such as refreshments and door prizes. More importantly, it provides students the opportunity to become an actively engaged in the community in which they live.
PROGRAMMING TRACKS
Living and Learning programs are organized into 6 different tracks. Each track focuses on topics relative to the enrichment of college students. Programming tracks are as follows:

PARTICIPATION AND INCENTIVES
Residents are encouraged to attend programs for educational and enrichment value. Each
program will provide valuable information, fun activities, and a chance to win great prizes for
participation. Participating residents will also have a chance to win “special” grand prizes to be
given away during drawings which will be held approximately every 6 weeks.
How Does It Work?
(Note: Dates for the grand prize drawings are indicated with an asterisk on programming calendar.)
ADVERTISEMENT
Program dates, location, times and topics will be advertised using the following methods: Residence Life building listserv, weekly flyers and handbills, university master calendar, electronic marquee, campus-wide emails, the Pine Needle and the “This Week” publication. All printed advertisement will be placed in visible locations throughout the residence halls and the Village Apartments.
