University Village Apartments | University Courtyard Apartments


University Village Apartments (On-campus)

University Village ApartmentsThe University Village Apartments are on-campus apartments managed by the Office of Housing and Residence Life. The Village Apartment complex consists of six air-conditioned buildings and houses 354 upper-level students. The apartments features carpet in the living room (22’5”x13’8”), sunroom/study alcove (6’10”x10’6”), and the three (3) double occupancy bedrooms (14’1”x12’6”). The living area is furnished with a sofa, chair, round dining table, four dining chairs, and a cable TV outlet. Each bedroom is furnished with bunkable beds, dresser, built-in closets, study desks, desk chairs, a telephone connection, one cable TV connection and a full bathroom.

The kitchen (78.5 s.f.) consists of a stove/oven, refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher, and garbage disposal. The UNCP meal plan is optional for students residing in the Village Apartments.

Utilities included in the housing fee are electricity, central heat/air, water, basic cable television service, local telephone service, and high-speed internet service.

Step outside your apartment and into a community building. The community building includes a laundry room, vending area, lab with 16 computers linked to high-speed internet access, manager’s apartment, manager’s office, and on-site post office boxes. A sand volleyball court and grills are featured on the site.

Additional services feature a live-in manager and Resident Advisors, security and law enforcement provided by the UNCP Campus Police, maintenance provided by the Housing and Physical Plant staff, and convenient parking for the residents.

The Housing Agreement is for nine (9) months beginning with the start of the fall semester and continuing till the conclusion of the spring semester. At the conclusion of the fall semester, the apartments remain open a week after the traditional halls close. The apartments reopen for spring semester a few days before the traditional halls. Short-term agreements are available for students enrolled during the summer sessions.

University Courtyard Apartments
(Off-campus)

University Courtyard ApartmentsUniversity Courtyard apartments opened its doors August 2001. University Courtyard is owned by the UNCP Foundation and professionally managed to give a new definition to the term commuter student. Located across University Drive, with-in walking distance to the UNCP campus, University Courtyard offers 96 apartments with 336 bed spaces.

The apartments offer attractive features like:
