University Honors College students are accepted through a special application process. Students are selected based upon documented academic ability and demonstrated leadership. Motivated students with strong SAT (1100) or ACT (24) scores and superior academic records (3.50 GPA) are encouraged to submit an application to the University Honors College. A written statement by the student describing his/her interest in participating in the honors program should accompany the application. Admissions decisions are made by the program director with the assistance of the University Honors College Advisory Committee.

The application deadline to be considered for honors housing and any available scholarships is February 15th, 2008. The Honors College only accepts appproximately 35 freshmen each year, so please apply early. Students who apply after this date will still be considered for admission as space allows.
