OBTAINING COURSE INFORMATION USING COURSEINFO:

There are several things you must do to access the course information for BIO XXX.

1. You must have a UNCP user name and email account. If you do not already have one or are uncertain that you do, log onto the web at http://www.uncp.edu/ucis/students/. Complete and submit the form on-line. It takes 24 hours to for the computer to finish this process. If you do not perform this step, you will be unable to utilize the site where the course is located.

This action will allow the CourseInfo server where BIO XXX is stored to see you as a user for any one of the courses available at UNCP through this server.

Until this action takes place to recognize you, please use the following information on a TEMPORARY basis:
Login: charlotte.bronte
password: charlotte

2. After 24+ hours, log onto web site http://courses.uncp.edu. Enter the course at BIO-XXX-XX. Login using your UNCP user name and password created in 1 above. On the left hand column you will see a series of buttons: Choose" Enroll in this course." Type in your password. Then you will see "You have been added to course" Click on the login button, and you have entered the course. Navigate through several of the buttons on the left column to make sure you can access items. To logout you must close down your browser.
