Service

I have consistently served in various university and department committees. I serve as research mentor, member of advisory board,  member/chair of search committees and peer evaluation committees, workshop presenter, faculty conciliator and volunteer in campus wide activities. I am a current member of the American Society for Microbiology where I serve as international mentor, abstract reviewer and judge for student presentations. I am an elected member of the Philippine-American Academy of Scientists and Engineers where I have served as plenary discussant. I am a Life Member of the Philippine Society for Microbiology where I serve as lead speaker for pedagogical issues. I am an active member of the Lumberton NC and Wilmington NC communities serving in cultural, financial, wellness and church groups.
