Directions for Oral Report
Be prepared to speak for 3 to 10 minutes. Students may use notes during the presentation (including the final report), but the final report must be in the hands of the professor during the oral report. Student may not read the oral report. Thus, one can use notes, but that does not permit reading to the class. Failure to submit the final report to the professor and/or reading the report constitutes a drop of one letter grade. Following or during the presentation, other students or the professor may ask questions. Part of the grade will be dependent on the student's ability to respond to these questions. Students are not required to stand in front of the class. Thus, students may remain seated at their desks for the oral report.
