Sociological Definition of Religion*
Religion -- "... a system of beliefs and practice by means of which a group of people struggle with the ultimate problems of human life."
Questions:
1. What is the "ultimate problem" humans face?
2. What is the implication that defines (or limits) religion as a group activity?
3. What unexpected groups comply with this definition?
