MIDDLE GRADES (6-9) LICENSURE IN MATHEMATICS

 

Students majoring in Middle Grades Education (6 9) are required to complete two teaching specialty areas. For a detailed description of the program of study in Middle Grades Education, including the program standards and goals and objectives, turn to Undergraduate Licensure Programs in the School of Education section of this catalog. Students majoring in Middle Grades Education (6 9) with a Mathematics teaching specialty area should consult with the Coordinator of Undergraduate Mathematics Education in the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science and the Middle Grades Program Coordinator in the School of Education.

MAT 1070 and 1080, MAT 2100 or 3280, 2110 or 4110, 2150 or 2210, 2300, 3150, 4020 or 4150

 

Pedagogy

MAT 2500, 4000, CSC 4050
