AIQ Book Forum hears three reviews

Janette Hopper Dr. Judy Curtis Dr. Jay Vest

On November 13, the American Indian Studies (AIS) Department hosted the American Indian Quarterly Book Review Forum. The forum featured three presenters:

  • Janette Hopper (Art), left, who addressed Bill Anthes' Native Moderns: American Indian Painting 1940-60;

  • Dr. Judith Curtis (Mass Communications), middle, who addressed M. Elise Marubbio's Killing the Indian Maiden: Images of Native American Women in Film;

  • Dr. Jay Hansford C. Vest, (AIS), right, who addressed Peter Nabokov's Where the Lightning Strikes: The Lives of American Indian Sacred Place.
