AIQ Book Forum hears three reviews
On November 13, the American Indian Studies (AIS) Department hosted the American Indian Quarterly Book Review Forum. The forum featured three presenters:
Janette Hopper (Art), left, who addressed Bill Anthes' Native Moderns: American Indian Painting 1940-60;
Dr. Judith Curtis (Mass Communications), middle, who addressed M. Elise Marubbio's Killing the Indian Maiden: Images of Native American Women in Film;
Dr. Jay Hansford C. Vest, (AIS), right, who addressed Peter Nabokov's Where the Lightning Strikes: The Lives of American Indian Sacred Place.
