If you have never had a UNCP computer account other than the Braveweb account
(which is for registering for courses), you can easily sign up for an account
on line at the UNCP's UCIS new user page.
Your initial ID will be your Social Security Number without spaces
or hyphens. Your initial PIN will be your birthdate expressed as YYYYMMDD.
For example, if you were born on April 1, 1983, your PIN would be 19830401.
After you click on "I Agree", you will receive a new user ID (something
like abc012) and a new password (something like c8kmp3it). Write these
down now, but soon you should change your password to something that you
can remember, but other people won't be able to guess.
If you already have an account for BlackBoard or the UNCP e-mail, but you
forgot your password, call (910) 521-6260 to find out where you have to go
to get it reset.
