Discussion: During this time, I will review the process of registering for classes and answer your questions .

Think Again: If necessary, revise the schedule you created in your “Think Fast” exercise and make a list of at least three alternates you can plug into your schedule if one or more of your first choices are closed.

Introduction

I have decided to drop our scheduled lesson on sex.  Instead, we will use our class time this week to prepare for class registration and to complete our one-on-one conferences.  Please bring your UNCP Catalog and any other materials related to class registration to class.  Also, please remember that your Life Plan is due on the Web by 9 a.m. this Monday, October 28.

Discussion

Now that you have studied various concepts related to courses and careers, time management, goals, and health, you can apply some of your knowledge to devise a good spring schedule for yourself.  For example, if you know that you are most alert in the morning, you may want to try to schedule most of your classes before noon.  Keep in mind, too, that you will want to have some blocks of time for studying.  If you have set some goals for learning certain things in college, you might use your spring schedule to begin achieving some of those goals.

Conclusion

We will meet for the last time as a class next week, when we will learn about some issues regarding drugs and alchohol.
