Objective

I  am seeking to engage in a internship with an organization based on laboratory work in the science field that deals with the effects of the human body. Such as diseases and many other cause and effects in health while trying to find cures for them.

Freshman, University of North Carolina at Pembroke. Majoring in chemistry with a concentration of Molecular BioTechnology.

Knowledge of Science

• In college I have taken chemistry and biology with two chemistry lab classes also a biology lab class.
• In high school I have studied chemistry and biology.

Leadership Skills

• In ROTC I learned to become more disciplined and precise in my work independently.
• In SGA as one of the Senators in my class.
• Teach sunday school to the teenage group.
• In high school I have been on the newspaper staff as an assistant editor also a reporter.(1997,Conn.)
• Member of  JROTC for four years and have the ability to understand instructions and follow threw correctly.
• Nominated and I have attended to the Youth Leadership Conference in Stamford Conn.(1996)

Working Skills

•  Worked as a seamstress/tailor in formal wear (1996-1997,Conn.)
•  Worked on the IBM cash register as a sales associate (1997-1999,Conn. N.C.)
•  Worked in the cleaners and filed many garments in numerical order also working at the desk.(1997-1998,N.C.)
• Made two web pages on Music in Antebellum and Civil War America and Black Music in Antebellum Era.
