Our web site about Personal Finance for College Students contains a wealth of information, and the latest news as of May 2008, about how students can and should manage the indebtedness they incur while attending colleges and universities.
These articles and related resources have been researched and written by students in the Investigative Journalism course (JRN-4600) of the Department of Mass Communications at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke.
The theme was chosen by members of the Spring 2008 class and the covers, section, pages, images, graphics, videos, wikis and blogs have been researched, written, photographed, videotaped, designed, prepared, managed and moderated by those students.
The staff for this project:
An investigative journalist has a perceptive, insightful and analytical mind with the strength of motivation to carry on when doors seem to be closed and facts are obscured or even asserted falsely.
Investigative journalism reporters:
Views implied or expressed in these articles and related materials are those of the individual writers and are not necessarily endorsed by the professor, the department, the university, or possibly anyone else.
