Where to shop for designer shoes
for less than designer prices

Story and photo by Kelly Griffith
While gas prices soar above $2, shoe lovers can take comfort in discounted stores and online conveniences. Here are some of Brave News World's favorites:

DSW:

Love it. Love it. Love it. Discount Shoe Warehouse (DSW), offers name brands like Nine West and Bandolino for less than competitors.

Payless:
The Jimmy Choo store in New York City
The Jimmy Choo store in New York City may have beautiful shoes, but the prices are way too high for the average person. A great place to shop for look-alikes is Payless.
Although it is not the most glamorous shoe store, Payless usually has several pairs of the season's hottest trends. The inexpensive prices and great selection will keep you coming back for more.

Zappos.com

Biggest and best online - easy to navigate through in search of the perfect shoes of all shapes, sizes and prices updated each day. Free shipping. No minimum purchase.

Clothing.ebay.com

Easy search feature from Ebay's home page lets buyers find the perfect styles from major shoe vendors like Grapevinehill. But, watch out - ask questions before bidding. Some companies may ask for a lot of personal information after you win the auction.
