* possible death in car and truck accidentsAlcohol Abuse
When alcohol begins to constantly present problems in your life, you are abusing alcohol. This can be any kind of problem: family, personal, or work related.
Drinking alcohol for long periods of time can make you dependent physically and psychologically on alcohol.
The causes of alcoholism are not yet known. Men have a higher risk of becoming an alcoholic than women. A family history of alcoholism may put you at a higher risk of developing a dependency on alcohol. If you have a family history of alcoholism then it is recommended that you not drink.
