Capture a Summer Fashion Sense
Opinion by Sha'Lace Gregg

hairpin Everyone wants to know what's going to be the latest trend in the fashion world for the spring and summer and everything you need to know to get you started on the hottest wardrobe is right here.

An outfit isn't complete without the prefect accessories to bring out the details and add spice to any piece.

Detail and color are two main aspects to consider when shopping for your spring and summer accessories:
  • Beaded and graphic prints are going to be everywhere this season so make sure you have some of in your collection.

  • Bright and pastel colors are always energetic and mood enhancing which are great for those walks around the park and afternoon lunch dates.
Starting from the top:
  • Hair bands and scarves are an easy, yet sophisticated, way to add color and style to any hair length or style.

  • Hair pins have been extremely popular and are great for pining back lushes locks this summer. Hair Pins have come a long way from their simple bobby pin ancestors and have developed into exquisite pieces of art. Rhinestone and glitter accents add great detail and color to match or bring out any outfit.

  • Sunglasses this summer are styled big with large frames. I'm not a particular fan, but the trend has been very dominant in fashion and runway shows.

  • Ear pierced dangles and chandelier earring have been very popular and give just the right touch needed to go with those cute summer dresses.
This summer, along with the seasonal tote bag, grab a small clutch bag to accent that dress or colorful skirt. Solid color clutches can bring together tops and bottoms. Striped or graphic designed clutches can bring out a solid color outfit to add bright spring additions.
