    Some of the most popular and commonly seen ones are plastic and brightly colored. The Bracelet is designed to increase awareness and to help people recognize that anyone can be infected and that it is up to each of us to be compassionate, understanding and responsible.

    Many bracelets are sold to raise needed funds for HIV/Aids care services, education and vaccine development. They have silver and gold cuff bracelets with range from $25 - $400.

    Brave News World is a general-interest magazine produced online by students in the course Online Journalism JRN 410 led by Professor Anthony Curtis, Department of Mass Communications, University of North Carolina at Pembroke.
