Dr. Curtis contributed chapter to textbook

Dr. Anthony Curtis (Mass Communications) contributed a chapter, entitled "Using Electronic Databases in Quantitative and Qualitative Research," to the second edition of George R. Taylor's textbook "Integrating Quantitative and Qualitative Methods in Research."

Dr. Curtis previously contributed a chapter to the first edition of the publication in 2000. The thoroughly updated 2005 edition was published by University Press of America at Lanham, Md. The text provides advanced undergraduate students and graduate students with a practical and relatively-simple introduction to statistical research.

Dr. Taylor is a professor at Coppin State University in the University System of Maryland. He and Dr. Curtis have cooperated on the delivery of doctoral-level research methods seminars in the past.
