Friday, March 28, 2008. Historians interested
in presenting papers should send an abstract to Professor Charles Beem at UNC
Pembroke. Undergraduate and
Graduate
students are also invited to submit proposals to Professor
Beem.

The deadline for the submission of proposals is February 15, 2008. Prizes for Papers Presented at the Annual Meeting Papers presented at the annual meeting are eligible for consideration for the Association's Prizes. The Brewster Prize is for college or university faculty. In addition, there are prizes for Undergraduate and Graduate student papers. Prize-winning papers are considered for publication in the Association's Journal. The Journal of the North Carolina Association of Historians The Association publishes the Journal of the North

articles
in all fields of History and a generous selection of book
reviews.
