Ismael Y. Abdelaziz-2010
Thanks to the Clinical Health Summer Program (CHSP), this experience has helped me by assuring my decision of becoming a dentist, because it made me love dentistry even more and encouraged me to push harder in order to achieve my dream to become a dentist.

Nyeisha Y. Bradley-2010
CHSP has given me an opportunity to see firsthand what EMS is all about.  This experience has allowed me to really understand what it takes to become a paramedic, and that it is an important part of the medical health care profession.

Caitlin E. Bullard-2010
The clinical health experience has been an experience that I feel every college student entering any medical field should be exposed to. It not only allows the student to gain an understanding of the types of encounters seen on a daily basis, but it also allows the student to get a basic feel of the path they decide to choose.

Elicia B. Dellinger-2010
I knew that this program would provide me with a hands-on learning experience and give me a wealth of knowledge about the specific area of the medical field that I am currently interested in pursuing. Working within this area has not only provided me with a better understanding of what the field of Optometry entails, but it has also helped reaffirm my decision to pursue a career in this particular medical field.

Sharissa L. Dice-2010
I have not only gained a new appreciation for Pharmacists and a great experience, but I have a new found knowledge of drugs that will possibly help me in future endeavors and new friends that I have made along my seven-week journey.

Daisy Irra-2010
Working at my clinical site has been such a great opportunity for me.  It has given me shadowing experience that will help me for my medical future and has also showed me the typical day of doctors. This experience will be a major stepping stone for my future and I am looking for more opportunities like this to come.

Nicholas C. Locklear-2010
My clinical experience has been very informative and interesting.  I think that it has helped me realize that I want to become a pharmacist and it has helped me recognize all the opportunities that pharmacy has to offer. I would have to say that overall, it has reaffirmed my decision for pharmacy.

Lauren Marshall-2010
Being a part of the Clinical Summer Health Program at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke, I have learned a great deal about the profession of pharmacy.  I have been blessed with the opportunity to work with pharmacists in the hospital, care clinics, and out-patient pharmacy, and the cancer center.  I am truly glad that I was given this opportunity and am very glad that I took advantage of the summer program.

Janki B. Patel-2010
During my placement for the clinical experience I have come to admire the doctors who, under difficult, even chaotic conditions, successfully manage their duties. Hence, I can say that until now, if nothing else I have definitely learned how to manage emotionally-stressing situations this summer. This clinical experience has taught me a lot of new things by being a part of it this summer.
