All Greek Council

All Greek Council consists of representation from all recognized organizations. The purpose of All Greek Council is to provide education and collaboration on a continual basis for the betterment of the fraternity and sorority community at UNCP. The All Greek Council meets every other Wednesday during the Activity Period. Each organization is required to be represented at each meeting. Educational programming is consistent with the mission of the Office of Greek Life. All meetings are open to the public and all interested parties are encourage to attend.

The following organizations are members of UNCP’s All Greek Council. Please check the Office of Greek Life website at http://www.uncp.edu/greek/chapters for an updated list of organizations as we anticipate the addition of many organizations during the 2008-2009 academic year.

Vision Statements created by UNCP Students at IMPACT 2007:

It is our vision to have a Greek Community that places emphasis on academic and personal integrity through positive leadership roles and personal experiences. It is our aim to engage in programs that not only better ourselves as a Greek Community, but also improve our relationship with the outside community. We will work together as a unified body to achieve our shared goals in order to positively impact our society, as well as setting a strong foundation for the future.

Building a Greek Community that is united and can grow to its full potential, utilizing higher education and values in doing so.

We envision a Community in which all members encourage and support one another without conflict, work to make community service more efficient collectively, and better our self-images.

The Greek Community of UNCP will commit itself to maintaining the values of our individual organizations, uplifting the student body and alma mater, and collaborating with one another for the betterment of all!

We envision growth and unity through positive community interaction.

We believe in a unifying Greek Community that holds specific values of: Leadership, Service, Pro-Activeness, Commitment, Education, and Personal Integrity.
