Financial Assistance and Graduate Assistantships

The University of North Carolina at Pembroke boasts one of the lowest tuition rates in the UNC system however financial assistance is available. There are a variety of funding opportunities available to assist graduate students in financially supporting their graduate program studies by way of the Financial Aid Office, Graduate Assistantships and scholarships. 

Financial Aid Office

Students seeking financial assistance to pay for graduate school may wish to contact the UNCP Office of Financial Aid at 910.521.6255 or 6285. All assistance requires prior completion of FAFSA forms.

Graduate Assistantships

Graduate students at The University of North Carolina at Pembroke have the unique opportunity to work with professionals in a variety of disciplines and assignments through a Graduate Assistantship. In addition to gaining valuable professional experience and receiving a stipend, graduate assistants are in a position to contribute significantly to their own intellectual development and to the University community as a whole.
