COMMENCEMENT DETAILS

APPLICATIONS

Applications for graduation are due in the Office of Graduate Studies on September 1, 2008.

GRAD FINALE

All students who have applied by the deadline will receive information about this event. It is the best opportunity to take care of all Commencement-related business. You may pick up your cap and gown, receive graduation tickets, and purchase announcements.

RECEPTION

There will be a reception for all graduates and their guests immediately following the Commencement ceremony. One area will be designated for graduate students.

LICENSURE

If your program qualifies you for NC Department of Public Instruction teacher/counselor/administrator licensure, complete:

  • Application for North Carolina Licensure, Form A

and submit it to Ms. Janetta Obeda in the School of Education licensure office with a check made payable to DPI.

Ms. Obeda will submit your licensure application packet after the Graduate School certifies that you have completed all degree/program requirements and the Registrar's Office has posted your degree to your transcript. In the case of licensure without a degree, the notification of completion is sent by the Graduate School to Ms. Obeda.
